While We're Under Construction:

The Creative Work Fund is pleased and honored that The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and The James Irvine Foundation have joined the Walter and Elise Haas Fund and renewed their support. In 2011, the Fund will be able to award up to $650,000 in grants for collaborations featuring literary artists or traditional artists. Eligible lead artists and collaborating nonprofit organizations must be based in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, or Stanislaus. The deadline for letters of inquiry will be Friday, March 4, 2011.

A fresh, renewed Creative Work Fund Website is under construction and will be up and running soon. In the meantime, please consider the following:
