THE CREATIVE WORK FUND LEAD ARTIST EVALUATION

THE CREATIVE WORK FUND ORGANIZATION EVALUATION

Person or persons responding to questions:
His or her relationship to the project:

PROJECT SUMMARY

  • Tell us about the finished work (its size, medium, duration, mode of presentation). Was it similar to what you imagined in your original proposal, or did it develop in unexpected ways?

  • Tell us about your collaboration with the artist.  Who took responsibility for which tasks (i.e. logistics, audience development, public relations, securing permits, etc.)?  Was that clear and manageable?  Did unexpected issues arise?  What was the most difficult aspect of the collaboration?

  • How did you reach audiences and/or engage participants in this project?  If possible, tell us how many people were involved at different stages.  Were these new constituents or audiences for your organization?   Will any of these relationships continue in one form or another?

  • What meant the most to you about this project?

  • Did the project attract press attention?  (Please enclose copies of print media coverage.)

  • If you were to take on a similar project in the future, what would you do differently?

  • Is there anything else you would like us to know about your project or your experience with the Creative Work Fund?

BUDGET SUMMARY

  • Please attach a summary of sources of the total actual income and expenses for the project.  In addition, please respond to:

  • Did the Creative Work Fund cover the full cost of the project?  If not, were you able to attract additional funding?

  • Did you encounter unanticipated expenses?

  • How much were you able to pay the artist or artists?

  • Did any sellable products come out of the project?  How much have you earned from these to date?  Do you anticipate future income from these products?
